Jeddah Season is a Saudi entertainment season held in the city of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast as part of the Saudi Seasons initiative, offering over several weeks a programme of cultural, entertainment, and marine events, concerts, and exhibitions. Establishment within Saudi Seasons
The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage announced on 27 February 2019 the launch of the Saudi Seasons 2019 initiative in its trial edition, comprising eleven tourism seasons covering most regions of the Kingdom, a step that was the first of its kind at the regional level, and Jeddah Season was one of these seasons. The initiative came as the outcome of the efforts of several government entities that had worked since mid-2018 under the leadership of a supreme committee chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with the participation of the Ministry of Culture, the General Entertainment Authority, the General Sports Authority, and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, in coordination with the various competent entities. The programme comprised eleven seasons: the Eastern Province Season, the Holy Month of Ramadan Season, the Eid al-Fitr Season, Jeddah Season, Taif Season, the Eid al-Adha Season, the National Day Season, Riyadh Season, Diriyah Season, AlUla Season, and Hail Season. [1]

Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, affirmed the programme's central role in activating the tourism sector, unlocking the capabilities of related sectors, and providing temporary and permanent job opportunities, and that it is one of the programmes that comes within the framework of raising the quality of life of citizens and building a vibrant society. The Season's Return and Its Second Edition, 2022
The National Events Center announced on 28 March 2022 its preparations for Jeddah Season 2022 in its second edition after its suspension, a season that reflects Jeddah's historical, cultural, and tourism standing and enhances its developmental role; its identity reflects cultural diversity, global openness, and a blend of enjoyment with authenticity, heritage, and the arts, as well as the maritime identity that distinguishes Jeddah. The management of Jeddah Season 2022 announced the start of its events in early May 2022 over two months through 2,800 events in 9 main zones in Jeddah, during a press conference held at the Jeddah Yacht Club in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Advisor to the Governor of Makkah Region and Acting Governor of Jeddah, and a number of officials. 2022 Event Zones and Their Components
The nine event zones were distributed across Jeddah Art Promenade, Jeddah Pier, Jeddah Jungle, Jeddah Yacht Club, Jeddah Superdome, Prince Majid Park, City Walk, Cirque du Soleil, and Jeddah Al-Balad. [3]
The season featured four international exhibitions, seven Arab plays, two international plays, twenty Arab concerts and three international concerts, in addition to seventy interactive experiences and the international show "Cirque du Soleil," five marine programmes and events, more than sixty amusement rides, and sixty fireworks displays throughout the season. Jeddah Season 2023
The City Walk zone, in its second edition in the city of Jeddah, presented on 3 May 2023 a package of varied events, and it is one of the largest entertainment zones in the Kingdom, within the events of the Jeddah Calendar 2023, and it includes the Japanese Village, which hosts the anime zone and the Splash, Carnival, Library, Museum, Jeddah Live, and Movie Land areas. Jeddah Season 2024
The management of Jeddah Season 2024 announced on 23 June 2024 the launch of the season's events under the slogan "Anew" on Thursday, 27 June 2024, during an opening ceremony in the Jeddah Art Promenade zone located within the Jeddah waterfront, featuring drone shows, fireworks, and visual and roaming performances. The season presented the "Warner Bros. Discovery: Celebrate Every Story" zone, held for the first time in the Kingdom, a blend of rides and entertainment shows that serves as a family facility bringing together the world's most famous stories and characters under one roof, alongside the "Imagine Monet" events, Prince Majid Park, and international concerts. The 2024 Season Outcome and Heritage
Jeddah Season 2024, whose events concluded in August 2024, recorded the attendance of more than 1.7 million visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom over 52 days since its launch on 27 June under the slogan "Anew," reinforcing Jeddah's standing as a leading tourist destination. [6]
The season transported its visitors to the neighbourhoods of Historic Jeddah, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, which has preserved the features of its old social life across a history extending more than 400 years. [6]
Jeddah Season 2025
Jeddah Season 2025 continued its events under the slogan "Jeddah Ghair" across a number of destinations offering renewed entertainment experiences, and among its most prominent events is the Jeddah Shopping Festival, which includes integrated marketing and entertainment activities, commercial offers, and live music nights that support the local economy and expand commercial partnerships. On 12 July 2025, the season announced the continuation of its events throughout the year and unveiled the start of the summer events and the opening of new zones, most notably "Wonder Forest," an air-conditioned zone with direct animal encounters and theatrical shows, and the "West Coast" zone with women-only beaches and daytime and evening experiences and activities and water sports.
